Altronix Adds New Model To Established Line
Altronix introduced the new ACM4 Access Power Controller here at ISC West.The ACM4 distributes 12/24V AC or DC over four independently controlled Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure outputs to power and control electric strikes and magnetic locks. Fire Alarm Interface is field selectable for any or all outputs with individual LEDs to indicate lock status.
The new ACM4 Access Power Controller is designed for a variety of smaller access control applications, said Alan Forman, President, Altronix Corporation.We believe this product fills a void for many access control installations frequently encountered.
The ACM4s four independently controlled, fused or PTC protected outputs may be utilized as dry form C contacts. These outputs can be activated by an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from an access control system, card reader, keypad, push button, PIR, etc.
The unit is designed to be powered by one common power source which will provide power for both the units operation and locking devices, or by two totally independent power sources; one to operate the unit and the other for lock / accessory power.
The ACM4 access controller board is available with or without an enclosure.
